Community Box Packing
Support food access across St. Paul by helping prepare dry goods boxes for community distribution.
Help The Sanneh Foundation prepare dry goods boxes that will be delivered to St. Paul parks and libraries for community members to pick up and share. This opportunity supports food access across multiple neighborhoods and helps ensure families have reliable access to shelf stable food items.
Shift Details:
WHERE: Sanneh Warehouse – 2323 Snelling Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404. Enter through the front door.
Parking: Street parking only. Park on Minnehaha or on 24th Street to the east of Minnehaha. Please be aware of parking restrictions, especially winter parking restrictions. Carpooling is recommended.
Dress Code: Comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes required.
Note: This is an indoor opportunity that may involve lifting.
Volunteer Tasks
Sorting and organizing food items
Packing dry goods into boxes for community distribution
Stacking filled boxes on pallets if able to lift up to 15 lbs
Breaking down boxes and keeping packing areas organized
Supporting staff with light set up and clean up as needed
Physical Expectations
You will be standing for most of the shift. Accommodations can be made if needed.
