CUHCC Winter Box Packing
Support food justice and community wellness during the winter month—help pack winter food boxes for families!
Help The Sanneh Foundation provide healthy food to families served through CUHCC. During the winter months, Sanneh transitions from weekly distributions to a once-a-month box distribution for CUHCC. These boxes are dropped off at three neighborhood locations to reach families where they are. We will be packing roughly 210 boxes each month—and we could use your help to make it happen.

Shift Details:
WHERE: Sanneh Warehouse – 2323 Snelling Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404. Enter through the front door.
WHEN: 2nd Wednesday (November 2025 through March 2026)
TIME: 9:00am to 11:00am
Parking: Street parking only. Park on Minnehaha or on 24th Street to the east of Minnehaha. Please be aware of parking restrictions. Carpooling is recommended.
Dress Code: Comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes required.
Note: This is an indoor opportunity that may involve lifting.
Volunteer Tasks:
You will be preparing winter food boxes for families.
Tasks may include:
Sorting and organizing food items
Packing items into boxes
Stacking filled boxes on pallet(if able to lift up to 15 lbs.)
A local high school group will join from 10:00–11:00 to assist with the Sanneh boxes, so expect a fun, team-based environment!
You will be standing for most of the shift, but accommodations can be made for seating if needed.
