Sanneh Box Packing – Support TSA Employees During the Government Shutdown
Join our Nutritional Services Team in packing 300 Sanneh Boxes each week for TSA employees and their families affected by the government shutdown. This is a hands-on, high-energy volunteer activity that makes an immediate impact.
Note: This volunteer opportunity is temporary and will remain active while the government continues to stay shut down.
Activities include:
Sorting and packing large quantities of fresh food
Composting and recycling tasks
Preparing boxes for delivery
What to Expect: Volunteers will be standing, walking, crouching, and lifting boxes (up to 30–40 lbs). We can accommodate those who need a stool or cannot lift heavy items.
What to Bring: Closed-toed shoes Comfortable clothing A water bottle
Location: The Sanneh Foundation Warehouse 2323 Snelling Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404
Dates & Times: Mondays and Tuesdays, 9:30-11:30 AM
Volunteers Needed: 5–10 per shift
Parking: Please park on Minnehaha Ave or on 24th Street to the east of Minnehaha and pay close attention to posted parking restrictions. Carpooling is recommended as parking is limited. Please enter through the front of the building.
