UPDATE: Due to low registration and the extreme temperatures forecasted, we are cancelling the tournament and opening the Dome up for free play. We can use volunteer support monitoring the field and engaging with kids who come to play.

I Have a Dream MLK Soccer Showcase Volunteer

Join The Sanneh Foundation as we honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. through the I Have a Dream MLK Soccer Showcase, a youth centered event that brings together soccer, learning, and community.
Volunteers will support on field soccer activities and help create a welcoming, organized, and engaging experience for young people and families. In between games, youth will rotate through additional learning experiences focused on leadership, service, and career readiness.
Volunteer details:
Date: January 19th, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Volunteer Shifts:
Morning shift: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Afternoon shift: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Volunteer Role:
Volunteers will assist staff with supporting soccer activities, helping guide youth between games and learning stations, and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
Volunteer Tasks:
Support soccer drills and games on the field Help guide youth between soccer games, learning activities, and interview stations Assist staff with basic event logistics as needed Help create a fun, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere for all participants By volunteering, you are helping young people connect movement, learning, and leadership while honoring the values of service and justice.
