WHERE: Irreducible Grace Foundation / Black Youth Healing Arts Center - 643 Virginia St, St Paul, MN 55103

When: Monday - 12:00 pm to 2:00pm 

Shift schedule: 

12:00 PM - Volunteer Check-in

Volunteers/Staff Mobilized on Site

                  *Sorting and distributing items and food onto tables.

                  * Assist in tearing down boxes and organizing items.

1:00pm - Distribution Begins

                 * Replenish tables with more items as they are given to the community.

2:00pm - Clean Up

                  *Put tables and tents away.

****Food distribution takes place in the gym during the winter and in the parking lot during the summer.****

Sanneh Box Packing – Help Us Feed Our Community

Join our Nutritional Services Team in packing healthy food boxes for families in need. This is a hands-on, high-energy volunteer activity that makes an immediate impact.

Activities include:

Sorting and packing large quantities of fresh food

Composting and recycling tasks

Preparing boxes for delivery

Location: The Sanneh Warehouse- 2323 Snelling Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404

What to Expect: Volunteers will be standing, walking, crouching, and lifting boxes (up to 30–40 lbs). We can accommodate those who need a stool or cannot lift heavy items.

UPDATE:  To meet the increased community need, we are switching to drive up box distribution for the foreseeable feature. Please be aware that the distribution will now be outside, please dress appropriately. Conway Food Distribution

Come help us support families in our community through our weekly food distribution at Conway.

Volunteers work alongside The Sanneh Foundation Nutritional Services team to help prepare and distribute food to community members. Volunteers assist with set up, drive up box distribution, traffic flow support, and clean up.

Shift Details:

WHERE: Conway Community Center- 2090 Conway Street, St. Paul, MN 55119

WHEN: Every other Tuesday

TIME: 2:00-5:30 PM

PARKING: Street parking or overflow parking behind the building via the Sun Ray Library parking lot on Wilson Avenue.

DRESS CODE: Comfortable clothing and closed toe-shoes

Shift Schedule: 

2:00 PM Volunteer check in and begin set up

2:30 PM Onboarding and training for food distribution

3:00 PM Distribution begins

5:00 PM Clean up and wrap up

Volunteer Tasks:

Set up tables and distribution areas Sort food and prepare items for distribution Assist with handing out food items Replenish food and supplies as needed Help with clean up and breakdown
